Adoptive & Foster Home Training

If you are interested in becoming a foster parent and/or adopting you will need to enroll in the no-cost Quality Parenting Training. The training is designed to:

  • Help families make informed decisions about fostering/adopting;
  • Help families understand their important roles and commitments as a member of the foster care/adoption team; and
  • Prepare families to navigate the foster care/adoption system.

The classes are typically three hours and are held one night a week for seven weeks. All classes are held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Orientation must be completed before attending classes and may be completed online. Click here to complete the orientation.
