NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness – NAMI is a nonprofit, self-help, support and advocacy organization of consumers, families and friends of people with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders.
NASW – National Association of Social Workers
NIMH – The National Institute of Mental Health offers information about the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. Included are brochures and information sheets, reports, press releases, fact sheets and other educational materials.
SAMSHA – Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration
2-1-1 Referral – United Way of Northwest Florida provides an information and referral service to residents in our 6-county region. If you are looking for help outside of the mental health services provided by Life Management Center (i.e. help paying an electrical bill), the 2-1-1 service may be able to help. To search their database, visit their website at 211nwfl.org or call them by dialing 2-1-1.
Bay County Chamber of Commerce – Information about the community where Life Management Center of Northwest Florida corporate office is located.
Florida Department of Children & Families – Information about services available from the Department of Children & Families throughout Florida including mental health, substance abuse, and other family services.
